Community voices in decision-making - Research Funding

Opportunity for community members to be involved in decision-making with the University of Oxford’s Public and Community Engagement with Research Fund

It is important that people affected by public and community engagement with research have a say in the engagement projects that receive funding.

For the first time, the University of Oxford’s PCER Fund will work with a panel of community members to assess applications and highlight community perspectives on engaging with research.

We are recruiting community members to be a part of the Public & Community Panel.

  • We are looking for members of community organisations who have been involved in research projects with the university, and who are interested in bringing their expertise of community engagement to this panel.
  • We know that this may be a new experience, which is why we are providing training and support.
  • Panel members will be paid, and reasonable expenses will be covered.
