City Sightseeing Oxford have worked with Pamela Roberts to offer a new one-of-a-kind bus & walking tour revealing the stories of a city's black scholars, some of which are told for the first time.
Black Oxford is a project which highlights the lasting impacts that black academics have made in areas such as law, politics, and the arts. The tour introduces this unique perspective on Oxford's rich tapestry of history, often overlooked in traditional narrative.
The tour features a 60-minute bus tour and a 30-minute guided walk featuring a bespoke live commentary by Pamela Roberts, who’ll breathe life into the stories she so meticulously researched.
There is limited availability so book early to avoid disappointment. The tours are running on the following dates: 14th September, 5th/6th October & 12th October at 1.00pm
